SPT Sommerworkshop 2025 in Frankfurt
Exploring Relational Being & Restoring Basic Goodness
We like to invite you to explore the nature of relationships, not just as interactions between individuals, but as living entities or 'social bodies' with their own unique quality. Drawing on principles similar to Social Presencing Theater (SPT**) and ancient wisdom , the focus is on shifting attention from the personal 'I' to the collective 'We'.
The overall process is about cultivating our natural ability to create balance, starting from the self and extending to small social bodies like the partnership, family, working teams and potentially larger ones. It's basically about restoring basic goodness, a often overshadowed quality that is at our core.
The workshop delivery and instructions will be in English, though group work may occur in German. Preparation and a slower pace might be involved, especially for participants new to this kind of work.
Stillness: Slowing down mental, cognitive activities is an essential step to deepen sense perception and connect to embodied sources of wisdom.
Embodying Qualities: Use our bodies to experience specific qualities (such as courage, authenticity, or creativity).
Joint Exploration: The workshop is not about being taught definitions, but about setting an intention or focus on a specific area (like the quality of a relationship) and jointly sensing and exploring what emerges.
Sensing Feeling Qualities: Emphasis is placed on sensing and feeling qualities. This involves drawing on feelings, experiences, and sentiments.
Relational Awareness: The aim is to deepen understanding of relationships, explore their essence, and foster relational awareness, recognizing that everything is relational. This includes sensing into the unique energy and qualities that emerge in the social field.

Through engaging in the workshop activities and explorations, participants might experience or gain:
A deeper understanding of relationships, exploring their essence and fostering relational awareness.
An understanding and embodied sense that everything is relational. Even individuals not in defined relationships can discover their relatedness to everything.
The opportunity to deepen, nourish, or flourish existing defined relationships.
Practice in shifting attention from the individual to the collective or relational body.
Clarity and experience in perceiving the unique qualities and emerging energy of relationships and social fields.
Potentially experiencing a shift in the quality of their own social field when connecting with others.
The ability to perceive and feel the essence and quality of a collective or group.
Connection with others and the opportunity to build community, potentially through follow-up sessions.
The workshop is suitable for people in existing defined relationships (e.g., partners, families, friends, colleagues) who wish to deepen or nourish their connection, as well as individuals not currently in such relationships. Everyone is related to everything, allowing for a broad discovery of relational awareness.
